How we got here...
All MALKIELE hair accessories and other exclusive pieces are handcrafted in the greenest country in the EU - Latvia.
We strive to make MALKIELE as sustainable as possible because the environment is important to us. Therefore,
- we use LESS PACKAGING,
- we choose eco-friendly materials,
- we select eco-friendly packaging,
- we choose environmentally-friendly processes whenever possible,
- we won't send you more than you need in order to reduce production and waste.

The process
- Since we are located in a single country where we handcraft all of our items, there are less logistics involved in our processes and that allows us to reduce our carbon footprint.
- We do not import our products, except for some raw materials.
- The processes and materials we use to handcraft our exclusive MALKIELE accessories are environmentally-friendly.
- 95% of our products are hand-made.
- We use sewing machines very sparingly, only for select operations for a few items.
- Some of our accessories are crafted using only glitter and glue.
- We do not use any dangerous oils or chemicals.
